Stuff I got from Mario Badescu

When I visited New York last month I bought these two items at Henri Bendel:

 and

My skin was having issues--breaking out like crazy and very dry from putting BP and SA on the pimples.  The MB rep told me I should only use BP or SA, not both.  So I stopped using BP and continued using SA on pimples at night.  Then I started wiping off makeup with Comodynes facial wipes--the sensitive skin ones.  Then I wash with Seaweed cleansing soap, put on moisturizer, and once the moisturizer is soaked in I put the 2% SA on top.

I noticed a huge difference in the feel of my skin--it feels so much softer now--not dry at all.  I still get pimples, especially around my period, but I've decided I'm going to see a dermotologist about it.

I made these purchases online since I liked the MB products so much.  The MB rep at Henri Bendel told me to keep my skin care routine simple and to stick to one line.

Here's what I got:

Ceramide herbal eye cream

 This toner--alcohol free

And this mask which I was given a sample of and I LOVED it.

Now, I've heard good things about the MB drying lotion--has anyone ever tried it?

I LOVE Mario Badescu products and IMO the drying lotion is one of their best.

The drying lotion is great, but I prefer the drying cream.

The lotion leaves you with pink dots

The cream rubs in, but smells (you can leave it in a clump, and you'll be able to smell it. If you rub it in, you will smell it when you sweat or wash off the stuff). Since I rub it in unless it's a bad one, I choose yo go to bed sans pink spots. Occasionally, I will rub a thin layer over my face. I swear it takes care of muddiness.

Both are great though.
