For a "casual" event this weekend.  Don't want to be dressy because most will be in jeans but I'm getting a little tired of my weekend event outfit which consists of jeans and a button-up or sweater.  Thought this would be a little something different but still on a casual level.


   


The earrings are beaded and the pants are actually a cotton chino - here's a better pic of the detail

Or do you think something like this works better together?
I want to be casual but cute.  We'll run into a lot of my husbands old friends from High School, and for some reason I always try to look pulled together when I know we're going to see them - I want them to think he ended up doing well for himself!

I like outfit two! Not a fan of jean jackets and black pants plus I think the accesories make it look super cool!

I love #1!  I think the jean jacket and graphic tee are so cute.  But, I actually think you could wear either pairs of pants w/outfit #1.
