Earrings for my mom...

My mom wants new earrings for her birthday. Her earrings are fine but they all look exactly the same. Any of these could be hers...

I want to get her something a little different, but that she would still wear. She specified she wanted black or pearl. I kinda like these but I'm not totally sold...

Thoughts? Suggestions? She won't wear anything big or long.
