Iam not sure weather   to post this here or in weddings.   I have  been debating if I should sell my wedding dress, I had it cleaned and preserved right after the wedding almost two years ago. Should I keep it or try to sell it , if I sell it where would be a good place to start? I included some pictures please excuse  some of my expressions my mom was taking pictures left and right I have the  petty coat and and the tiara  (spelling??)  as well.

Keep or sell... honestly, it depends on your sentimental attachment to it, and how strongly you feel one way or the other.  If you think, "eh, it's just a dress," I'd sell it, but if you think you might have even the tiniest bit of guilt afterwards, I'd say keep, since you only get one, and once it's sold, it's gone forever.

BTW, you look lovely in the pics.

I agree with Eurodaisy.  When I finally get married I will probably preserve my dress also and probably keep it forever because I know if I ever got rid of it there will come a time when I will want it back and I won't be able to have it.

Thanks ladies I agree with you because it is specail to me and I know once it;s gone I will kick myself in the butt. I just thought well I need more room in closets and I will never use it again so maybe sell it.Sometime I just want to open it and put it on again Thanks again

I say keep the dress.  Maybe you could find something to store it in so that it wouldn't take up closet space.  What about those vacum air tight storage bags?

Love the pictures, BTW

I saw an idea in one mag I've always thought was cute - getting your wedding dress made into a quilt that you can keep and use ...
