I've had them on my zappos favorites list for two years. I finally bought them a couple weeks ago when they were marked down to $42, originally $245. I've tried the lesser expensive silver ballet flats, like old navy and target, but I don't like the way they look at all. These are more structured than a ballet flat, they are kinda ballet flat inspired.
That is a great price, but I'm really limiting my shopping right now and I don't want to buy anything that I won't be able to wear for several years. Am I blinded by the good deal? Will I be able to wear them for a long time or do they already look dated?
I typically don't worry about whether or not things are too trendy, I figure if I like it, I don't care. But, I'm completely on the fence about these.
I did the same with my Grey Ant dress...have been obsessing about it since september '04 and finally broke down and got in two months ago. It was definitely worthwhile, even though I too was trying to control my shopping. Plus that's a killer deal.
