Anyone else watch?  I thought Drew Lachey and that ex football star were good.  The only female I liked was Lisa Rinna, even though I believe she is entirely made of plastic.

Did anyone else notice that they went to an audience shot of Nick Lachey clapping when his bro got done dancing and there was NO Jessica and NO ring.  I didn't believe it till I saw that.  Now I do.

I watched last night too. 2 hours was a bit long, but maybe it just seemd slow because it was the first night. I liked Drew Lachey and Lisa Rinna too. I thought it was sweet that Nick was there during this probably no too easy time. I also liked the wrestler girl.

Depsite what the judges said, I thought Tatum O'neal sucked and it was obnoxious.

And then there was Master P... there's really nothing much to say about that. Hopefully he'll get kicked off tonight. Or if he returns he'll wear the right shoes and do more than just stand there. I think the judges were too generous. What bothers me is he's paired with my favorite professional from last year, Ashley. She danced with Joey last season. I really like her and her choreography so I would love her to stay on but just not with her current partner.

Yea, I didn't know who she was at first and when they kept going to shots of the dancers waiting back stage to dance she always looked really fake and awkward and I was like "who's that wierd lady?"

Master P just really seemed like he didn't want to be there.  It was hard to watch.

That's how I felt to.  He kept saying that he was doing it for all the people in the ghetto, and while that is okay, it is a competition and he should be doing it to win!

I agree, Master P was excruciating to watch and he looked like he was just going through the motions. I felt sorry for his partner to be stuck with him.

Oh boy, and then there was the Fox Sports news guy, although painful to watch also, at least he tried to make an attempt at the routine. Neither one of them should be on there, they could have found better people. I hope Master P gets voted off tonight, I don't think I could sit through another one of his routines.

Master P was just filling in for his kid lil' Romeo. (I think it was just a one-night thing and not for the duration of the series)

I thought it was hilarious! My girlfriends and I always get together and watch DWTS. I voted for Lisa Rinna, Jerry Rice, and ... I forget who else. Oh! Tia Carrera (sp?) just because I really like her. Master P was damn funny. We cracked up the whole time he kept saying he was doing it for "the ghetto." We've all decided to dedicate our work day today to the people of New Orleans, because apparently that's all you have to do (say it). You don't have to raise money or actually DO anything, just say it's for them. So there you go. This is for them.

I liked Jerry Rice. I thought he was the best guy besides Drew Lachey, who is going to be the real competition this year, I think. It was sweet of Nick to be there. And not too hard on the eyes, I might add. *hubba hubba*

I agree.  I Ashly.  I want to be friends with her.  It must have been so frustrating to have to dance with Master P who gave her nothing to work with.  It was funny though.  If he doesn't get kicked off tonight I REALLY hope Li'l Romeo is on next week.  He might be kind of cute with our Ashly.

I loved Tia Carrere. Most actresses wouldn't leave their house until the baby weight was gone, but she went out there, belly and all. I admire her for doing it.

I agree!  I even thought she looked better then that wrestling girl.  She looked like a giraffe, she was so skinny and lanky.  Tia looked elegant and beautiful.

I was so excited to watch this last night.  I think there are some real good pairs on there.  I didn't really get to watch it last year so I don't know how it compares to the couples from last year.

I liked the girl in the white dress, tia, and drew.  I thought Tatum was awful and her nose was killing me like something is just off about it.  Oh and her little fits about spinning.  Give me a break and grow up. Ugh.

Jerry Rice was funny.  When in doubt he just shaked his hips!

Master P also just killed me.  I love his partner but he just stood there and "slouched around" as my bf put it.  He was killing him also.  Oh and the rhinestone hat!  Ugh there are no hats in ballroom dancing.  And the ghetto comment and doing it for the people of Katrina ticked me off.  I don't know the last time that guy was in a ghetto or spoke to anyone in the ghetto.  He's been living in mansions in both Baton Rouge and Los Angeles and was putting his kid through the most expensive school around in BR.  Not that I have any room to talk but it just seems like his excuse to be on the show and not put anything into it.

I watched, I really felt bad for poor Kenny Mayne, he did look stiff, but I hope he gets to stick around because he really needs to learn more from his pro.
