I guess it's more classic and practical then the bag with the fish on it! But do you think the white trim would be a little dangerous. I love white but I must admit I don't wear it a lot because it makes me a little nervous. Do you think it'd be hard to keep clean?
I love the white! It looks more springy/summery. I have a white on white signature hobo from Coach from last Spring and honestly, it didn't even get very dirty at all. I carried it all spring/summer and the whole thing is white! I think you'll be fine.
I think this bag would be more practical, since it can be carried year-round.
Not to scare you off from the white trim, but... I have a white handbag and the handle has gotten a bit dirty and gray-looking, and I'm not sure how to clean it. I would say if you can find a way to clean the trim, it wouldn't be a problem.

Definitely think this would work better for you, but I like the gold trim just because you could get away with wearing it in the fall and winter, whereas the white is more summery and would probably use only for the spring and summer, although if you want a bag strictly for spring and summer and dont mind it going into hibernation during the cold months, I would definitely go for the white bag.
HTH! Either way you can't go wrong.

I once had a white purse, and since i am messy, it did show dirt easily...but I love that coach bag with the white trim and handles...I do not think it would get to firty or anything...definitely get it!
I am pretty messy and live in a pulluted urban jungle, so IME anything I've ever owned that was snow white got dingy. My white leather purse became an ivory one.
