I know, i thought she was definitely out, but guadalupes dress was AWFUL, they should have both been gone this episode!! Oh well, maybe next episode :)

I thought it was cool that Nicky hilton was the celebrity guest, for some reason I had a feeling it would be Paris... weird.

Yeah I do have to admit Lupe's dress looked like morning dog food.I about pissed my pants when Michael Kors said it looked like she had green socks on the dress.

I was so hoping they'd both be out. I can NOT believe she did that- what the hell was she thinking?! It wasn't even a nice dress in the first place...kind of tacky looking if you ask me...

I wanted to hate Santino's so badly becasue I am sick of him, but as much as I tried to hate it I couldn't.

I was surprised that Marla didn't go too. Guadelupe's dress was hideous, but it seems like Marla has been more consistently bad. She just isn't cut out for this type of design.

I really wanted Nick to win or maybe Chloe. I'm already hoping to see one of them win the whole thing.

I was a great episode, even though Marla is still there ...ugh...

I felt so bad for Nick, he looked so disappointed when Santino won. Does anyone else notice that the designers seem to only have one look?? Santino always does high waist silhouettes with lots of detailing. Chloe had that neckline like twice already, and the black and blue is a variation of her winning dress. Kara janx always does empire waists with a big bow on the side. I am really not impressed. Is it me or do the designers from season 1 have more creativity/talent??

Don't like Marla or Guadalupe so either one was fine by me to leave. While I liked Santino's dress, I thought Nick's was just as good, if not better. I really like Nick and think he will hang in there for quite a while. Loved Daniel's dress too (and his hair is so pretty ). The dress I liked the most was Zulema's. She's never really impressed me that much before but I thought her dress last night was so unique and interesting.

Yeh, rocky, Season 2 designers seem to be really limited in their talent/creativity.

My favorite dress was Daniels. Though I'm a sucker for a great geometric print, I really loved the silhouette of the dress. And the way he kept cool and still managed to create an awesome garment when faced with the problem of having the wrong color fabric was awesome.

I've only seen a couple of episodes this season, but I think Santino is gonna win it. I thought his dress was far and away the most gorgeous. The aqua blue silk with the black that both Nik and Chloe used looked tacky to me. The rope detailing Santino used was creative and beautiful. I really hate Diana. She is so obnoxious.

i finally watched this on tivo last night.

i LOVE daniel v.--he's just so adorable, his designs are good, and he's so chill and not all drama-queen like the others. i hope he makes it to the final 3, but i don't know if he will.

that said, i really hope nick wins. his designs are consistently great, and he has a great personality for working with clients. he seems more under-the-radar, kind of like how jay mccarroll was last season, when the spotlight was on kara saun for most of the episodes. i like santino's designs a lot, too, but he's just so over-the-top and thinks that he has nothing left to learn--i hate when people are super-arrogant like that.

i like chloe, too--her stuff reminds me of narciso rodriguez. but maybe they will decide she is too "wearable."

cannot believe that marla is still in--i think the other daniel got robbed. i know he was pokey and never got finished on time, but at least he had some creative talent! marla is just struggling.

and that diana is totally unwatchable--ugh! the little mouse voice is so irritating. i sort of respect what she makes because it is creative and you can tell she puts a lot of thought into her designs, but i'd respect them a lot more if she owned it and worked it a little bit--she's on tv for heaven's sake!

marla should so be out. but maybe that means when she's pitted against someone i really like then she'll go.

rica -- i really like daniel v.'s dress too. it was my fav. probably b/c it looked so different from the others.

rocky -- i can't comment on season 1 b/c i haven't seen it. but after last episode i started to feel like several of the designers don't really have that much of a repertoire (sp?). i feel like there's way too much similarity b/t the looks some of the designers have presented, and on a show like that they should be able to do more.

that being said i do think santino rocked it. i would have like nick's dress a lot more if it weren't asymetrical. also i think the whole nick vs. santino thing might be a producer's touch. much of the trash talking was edited in after the fact. which makes me think that the producer's realized that the episode in and of itself was pretty boring so added that element to manufacture drama.

nicky hilton is the most vapid person. i would say ever, but she's only outdone by her sister. for some reason it really bothers me that she's considered a celebrity when she has absolutely no personality.

I totally agree. She always looks like a Stepford Wive to me. I appreciate the fact that she is the shy, more reserved one or whatever, but if she is going to do the show, she could at least act like she's enjoying herself.
