I am not a "big designer" handbag person, and will likely never pay several hundred dollars for *most* handbags. But I want to upgrade / add to some of my basic collection (which really only consists of one brown and two black handbags). I have been looking at the Fossil bags in person and on eBay. They are running about $100-$150 at Dillard's or Macy's, but I have been able to find some better prices for the styles I like on eBay.

I'm just curious regarding opinions on these bags? I don't remember anyone posting about them, but does anyone know if they hold up well? They seem to be pretty decent leather and quality bags to me. Any thoughts are most welcome...thanks!

My MIL has one she's used every day for 2+ years, and it still looks pretty good!

My main brown bag is a Fossil. I'm really happy with it. I don't carry it every day but I've had it for two years and it still looks great.

I agree that they are good quality, especially for the price.  I'm debating between a Fossil and a Tano for my next bag purchase.

Here is a pic of the bag I won:



It's hard to tell but the handles are braided (a nice extra I like) and I like the piping too. Both my black bags are pretty small and I am really needing a larger one - I seem to be hauling around more and more stuff lately.

I'm watching a few others too, but couldn't resist - the bag itself was $9.99 and no one else bid...hopefully it won't be a loss. ~fingers crossed~

Fossil is good quality to me.  I use my Fossil mini wallet nearly everyday for the past few years, it still looks new even though one day I accidently dropped it outside overnight in my driveway and it got wet.
