Nordstrom is holding a Stila makeup event on Saturday... Ive made an appointment with the makeup artist, but ive never used stila makeup before.  And just wondering if it is worth going or if i should wait for another makeup event for a different brand?  If it is worth going, what are your fav products?


Also, im debating wheter to go because, I have to go out of town that weekend, and if i went I would have to leave saturday evening instead of friday afternoon. So if its not worth it, id rather not waste my time and just leave town on friday.

I think it's worth it to go.  I love their Smudge Pots and they have great lip glosses.  I know HalleyBird loves Stila, so maybe she'd have more input.  I know I would definitely go though!

I do love Stila! I've never regretted anything I've purchased from them -- they have great colors and last forever on me. I really like their eyeshadow and the smudge pots, as shopchicago mentioned.  They have really great palettes, too, and they're usually a pretty good deal. I don't overly love their lipstick or mascara, but a lot of people here love their lipglaze.

I love stila make up.  I use the tinted moisturizer, illuminating foundation, eyeshadows (cassia and kitten - not together), and I love the lip glaze - I have grapefruit, raspberry, and amaretto.

I really like Stila. Especially their lipglazes.


But in saying that, I don't know if I like it enough to miss part of my weekend away. I would probably cancel and wait for another event, but that's just me.
