I was wondering if anyone knew how her sizing runs?

what are you looking at?  I saw a tweed skirt that i really liked at bloomies for about $150 on sale- but in an 8 (knew it would be too big), and then saw it again in a boutique for $500.  argh.  I would guess it runs tts?  the 8 looked much too big (i'm usually a 4) so i guess it doesn't run really small.

ps. i was in the elevator with ms. sui the other day.  i see a lot of her stuff in the factories and such.

That's so cool, did you talk to her? Your job sounds awesome.

It is the infamous Lucky top, with the bow in the back. The pic won't copy over for some reason. I am usually an 8 but they only have a 6 left. It looked a little big on the model in Lucky, but they may have sized up or something??

well, we both got off at the same place and she talked with the guy first (the owner of the factory) because, she is anna sui of course.  He just said "Anna!" and gave her a hug and then she showed him some drawings and he said, we can do that of course. and then she left.  she was wearing a long sweater coat (brown dipped with red at the bottom), a red batik/hippie-ish type mid calf length skirt (most was covered by sweater), and red slightly heeled cowboy boots (red-ish suede with white contrast stitching embroidery- didn't look super cowboy)  She might have had sunglasses on too.  She reminded me of a much more subdued Betsey Johnson- older but def. dresses however the f*ck she feels like- which i totally respect even when I don't necessarily love a look. much more personality than those perfect stylist chosen ensembles.

i'm a designer's assistant, so i do lots of different things- mainly running samples and fabrics around the garment district and checking on the factories.

It's TTS. I'm a 34D and a 6 in deisgner stuff (except for Betsey Johnson and DVF where I need an 8), tried on a dress at Macys in a 6 and it was perfect but didn't buy it.

OT: Good grief I am HITTING myself over the head because that dress was $75 and would've been a perfect perfect dress from graduation, summer weddings, winter weddings with sweaters and boots...OMG what is wrong with me!!!

i bought that top and sized up--i find that her tops and dresses are cut a bit small, and this top is meant to be not-fitted.  i usually wear an 8 on top, and i got the 10 and it's perfect.
