Nixed the limo/bar hop idea bec. our friends couldnt' decide what they wanted to do.  BF and I went to a private party hosted by some social club.  I swear it was like prom -- the most diverse crowd ever -- the snooty snoots (i.e. snobs), middle of the road people like us, etc.  I swear I cannot convey how much fun we had.  It was $60 adm. and open bar, so everyone was toasted.  After party was over at 2, we went to a house party with some people we met and just hung out there until about 430.  I think I finally got in bed at 7.  It was the best NYE ever. Sunday, drove to Arkansas to see my mom before she leaves for the Philippines for 3 weeks.  All in all, it was a wonderful weekend.

I went to DC to visit friends. We went to a party with quite a few boring people but I drank a lot and had fun. And I had the cutest outfit by far, and really, what matters more than that?

hung out with DH, my best friend and her BF. Got wasted and somehow ended up watching her roomate's porn until about 5am.

My bf and I planned on watching movies and eating junk food at my house, so that's where we started out. We found out that his younger brother got punished and had to stay in alone, so we went to their house to keep him company. That got boring fast, so we took a walk up the street to their parents' friends' house, where they were playing poker. They wouldn't let us in on the game (plus they were all kind of drunk and obnoxious) so we walked right back. I feel asleep at 10:30 and they woke me up at 11:45 to watch the ball drop. He took me home at 12:15. It was a fuuuuuun night!

I flew back to NYC from San Francisco on the 30th (had been in California to meet my three week old nephew) and met my BF at his sister's apartment. It was the one year anniversary of our second date (and first kiss), so a nice night to be together. On the 31st, he made fondue for me and a friend, we got dressed up, and then went to a party where we knew only two people! But it turned out to be fun. I had a new dress from BCBG that I loved and that always makes me happy.

Hubby and I went to NYC.  His best friend had a dinner party and then reserved a few tables at a middle eastern themed bar called Falucka for the actual midnight festivities.  I had a fabulous time in NYC over the weekend.  I'm pretty sure that if I lived there, all my money would go to restaurants.
