here is our new king size bed we got for Christmas from my wonderful in-laws!! it was definitely our best present this year. i just wanted to share pics of the bedding we got for it...i went with a friend to bed, bath, and beyond and we found the quilt on sale for $100. and then we went to TJMaxx and found the sheet set for $50. (i think they are 360 thread count sateen) and i got all the decorative pillows at TJMaxx. (i love that store!)

here is full shot, i still need to get a bed skirt and plese ignore the moose lamp on DH's side of the bed...he won't get rid of it (believe me, i've tried)

Wow I can't believe you found all those items for such a good price and they look so expensive and go so well together!  I bet you are enjoying your roomier bed... and its always nice to have new bedding too

Wow!  What a great deal! I love the way you coordinated everything- the whole color scheme/patterns look so serene.  And I love the splash of gold- it's really beautiful!

Looks very rich and comfy! 


And your DH's attachment to his lamp is so funny... the things that guys hold onto (animal shaped lamps, worn out pairs of underwear, etc.), it's just beyond understanding.

Oooh!  Love the quilt!  I have a shabby chic one with patches of velvet & satin too - it's my fave part!  Haha - i wouldn't have even noticed the moose lamp til u pointed it out.  I say let him keep it! heehee it's very Abercrombie! hehe
