7/COH maternity jeans....?

I did a search but couldn't find anything re: sizing.

For those of you who have worn them, did you buy your pre-pregnancy size or did you go up a size (I read somewhere that this is suggested)? I'm looking at some on ebay right now. Part of me thinks it's insane to spend so much on something that I'll only wear for a few months, but I'm rapidly expanding and it's so hard to feel cute so I think I'd be willing to spend the money just so I can feel like I look nice.....

I bought a pair of COH in my second trimester I went up a size. I spent most of my $ on nicer Maternity jeans because they can be dressed up or down and they really did help me feel cuter...

Thanks! I found my favorite pair of jeans (COH Naomi) in maternity on ebay but I wasn't sure if I should get them because they're a size bigger than my usual. I figured it would be best to size up but I wanted to know for sure. Thanks again!

I think JMR bought some when she was pregnant so if you still have questions you can pm her about them or try to catch her monday after the weekend is over.

Go up a size for sure, they will fit great in your second trimester, by the end of my third though they no longer really worked

I actually bought a pair of juicys...I can't even remember now what size they were. I can say though its worth the investment...you may not want to hear this but I did wear my maternity jeans about 6 weeks after I had the baby too - so it helps to have a nice pair. Check ebay for them..a lot of women sell them after they are no longer in need. :)

eta: Just wanted to mention - almost NOTHING fit me at the end of my third trimester - regardless of size!!

When I was pregnant, I bought a nice pair of 7's on ebay for about $30 less than retail, the seller had described them in actual size and pre-pregnancy size as well and they ended up fitting great....only the inseam was a tiny bit shorter than I needed because I hadn't even bothered looking at that part.  they were so comfy, I wore them during my first post partum months too.

Mine happened to fit all through my pregnancy because I didn't gain anything but a high up belly and because the waistband is nice and stretchy, I just wore it below the belly when I was well into the week 30's, but it's a good idea to try some on first and give yourself a little room to grow since you don't know how high you will be carrying baby.

Thanks everyone. I ended up buying a pair of COH Naomi's on ebay and I did go up a size. I'm 20 weeks right now so hopefully I'll be able to wear them at least through my 8th month. I'm glad to hear that they'll work well for right after delivery too.
