Does anyone know if Macys has fairly cheap bow ties? Tuxedo shirts?
Permalink Closed

My bf can't find his bow tie and we don't really have much time to find one in a sotre. I'll be passing by Macys today, does anyone know if they'll have a decent selection? He told me to get a red one, preferably clip-on. Good grief. I looked on the web site and they only have $125 bow tie and cummerbund sets. I do live close to Bloomingdales and near higher-end stores like Brooks, Pink, etc but I don't want to shell out a lot of money especially if he doesn't like whatever I get. BTW how much does a bow tie normally cost anyway?

ETA: Apparently he now wants to try to replace his tuxedo shirt. Is Macys likely to sell those? Oh and I guess money is now not so much of an issue since he's going to have to come with me and pick out the stuff himself.

omg bow tie! well ties are normall are in the $75-150 for a nice one.. and you figure that all bow ties will have to be *nice* since they are going with something expensive and formal.

he could always clip it!

anyway, i think macy's would be the best bet for that type of thing.. or maybe like a suit place on the UES. you could also try SIMS or the Men's Warehouse.
