I bought both of these at Gap Outlet and I think they could be cute if worn right but I'm not sure if its worth trying to figure out how to wear them.  any suggestions? should I return them? I'm heading to the outlet mall tomorrow or friday.


Skirt #1:


IMG_0912.jpg kind of a velvet fabric.  Has a nice sheen to it but it falls slightly below my knee so boots would look stupid on me with this.  Any ideas? Return it? Get it Hemmed above my knee? Was $14 or $24 can't remember.


Skirt #2:


Black with pleats.  Falls below my knee also.  Heavier cotton material. Was $10IMG_0913.jpg

I like them.  Especially with a wrap top, they have that twirly ballerina vibe.  At least that's how they look on the hanger.  I bet they would also look great with tall pointy boots.

I can't quite tell from the pic, but I think I have the second skirt w/ the pleats.  I wear it to work all the time! It goes great w/ turtlenecks for work or wrap tops for going out.  It works really well with tall pointy boots like kittenheels said.  Definitely keep it!

i definately like skirt #1.  i am not quite sure of the pleated one.  would need to see it on.
