I can't seem to figure out how to get all the songs from Windows Media Player into Itunes and therefore onto my Ipod. I followed the instructions on the Ipod site, and I either end up not being able to find the files to add, or it adds the file but it's just the file that contains the songs in the library instead of the actual songs themselves. What am I doing wrong? Is it possible that everything in my Windows media player is unable to be converted and therefore transfered?

when i first installed itunes, it automatically sent all my songs to itunes.
i'm not sure what kind of operating system you have, but in windows xp i think all your songs should be saved individually in the folder for "my music". usually when i download something from a non itunes source i have to open it up in itunes. the simplest way to do this is to make itunes your default media player so as soon as you press play it pops up in itunes. alternatively you could right click on the file, and then select open with itunes. hth!
