I'm not sure if I'm searching for something impossible here. I go to school in Boston where it seems the sidewalks are always icy and I have to walk quite a bit. I have shearling boots, but they don't hold up well when they're wet and with all the salt. I really need waterproof boots (preferably black or brown) that have a LOT of traction and are hopefully under $100 and are cute (the really hard part)!
Oh, and I really liked these which were posted about before, but I also have thick legs, so I'm always unsure if high boots will actually fit over my calves, especially if I tuck in my jeans.
Ooh, someone on here just got some that fit that description. I *think* it was shopgirl 82 but not sure. They had that same sort of look but more rugged looking (don't think I'm describing that the right way). If anyone knows what I'm talking about, let Shello know!
ETA: Here they are!

Thanks! They're out of my size but maybe I can find them somewhere else hopefully. If all else fails, I'm sure I can go to an outdoors store and get some, they just won't be as cute.
