I think it depends on the coat you are wearing it with... if you have a neutral type coat, then I like number 2 better because it would add colour. If you have a colourful coat, then you might want to go for number 1 because it's more neutral-y. If it were me though, I would probably go for number 2 because it looks softer and I love soft scarves

i'm leaning towards #1 too. i have a red, black, and cream wool coat, but i already have scarves to go with all of them (thanks to chicago's lovely weather).

i like #1- it is more classic missoni and more bohemian. the second one is more pop-y- reminds me of pucci, etc. depends on your style i guess. the second one wouldn't work as well for me but i do like it.
