Well, I'm not going to be super cute, but I'm wearing this:
I haven't decided on shoes yet at all, and I might cuff my jeans. Haven't figured out my bag yet either. I'm just going to a super casual college bar, so there's no need for me to be really dressed up...
Opposite of what I had pictured! So I've ordered several cami's and none have been what I call "perfectly flattering" which is what I want. My husband reminded me that last year I wore a cami and pants and ended up freezing all night long and left on my blazer. I stay cold! Most everyone at this party will be in a cami and black pants - same thing every year! And until now that has been my uniform too. I was in BeBe yesterday returning two camis and came accross this - it's totally not a color I wear because of my dark auburn hair I tend to shy away from Orange. But this is a much more burnt orange in person and something about it said "try me on" so I did and fell in love. So, I'm wearing it with these perfect brown pants I found, my hair pulled back (stealing the Hillary Duff style-again) with a brown shiny ribbon, brown smokey eyes, a gloss that almost matches the color of the top and some thick brown mascara, big pretty earrings, and of course a little glitter.
These aren't the pants but I just put these to show the color combo I'll be wearing.
blk satin pants w/ this tunic in black not green and blk satin pumps
or with brown knee high suede boots and a my brown cardiwrap or chunky cream sweater.
we're going to door county, so i might do the dress since i feel like i might stand out funny with the black tunic and satin pants.

I'm torn - I bought a cute dress at Anthro, but then I bought an even CUTER dress yesterday at BCBG. I can't find a pic online though
While I was at BCBG, another girl was trying on this tunic, and it is so beautiful!!! Shopgirl, I am very jealous that you own it! She was planning to wear it on NYE with jeans or a short denim mini and boots.
i have two events that i am going to. for the first part of the evening i am going to a formal dinner for my husbands fire station and we are leaving at about 10:30. and for the second half of the evening we are going to a friends house for a huge huge party. so i have two outifts.
party outfitwith a black cami underneath, of corse.
Probably nothing that will help! We are renting a big cabin with friends this year, so nothing fancy. We'll be doing hiking, playing pool, sitting in the hot tub, etc. etc. so I'll probably be in jeans and comfy shirts most of the time. But it will be fun and cozy and no one has to drive anywhere (we don't come home until the 2nd), and I'm thrilled to pieces about it.
Hope y'all have fun, whatever you end up doing. And rar, I think the outfit you posted will be lovely on you. I like the idea of that color shirt with your gorgeous hair!

My New Years will be spent in the little town of Elk Creek (at the local bar- the only bar) that my husband grew up in- population 300! Well, with this in mind, I am going to wear the cowboy boots my husband bought me for christmas, a "western-like belt" that I got at express that has a turquise colored buckle, and a simple top that has yet to be determined. The locals dress very casually- so, I dont want to look completely out of place...
