Those of you who have them do you find them practical and think you will wear them for awhile?

do you have the velvet brand one?  i remember you looking at it.

well, i don't have the bcbg one, but ihave the brown and black of the velvet brand and i wear one of them at least once a week, sometimes more.  totally worth it, but they are t-shirt material.  i tried on a M or L or M/L of the bcbg one once and it fit very strangely- perhaps the smaller one would have fit better but i gave up.  anyhoo- if you can find one for a deal, i think they're worth it, i love my velvet ones.  lilykind has a chartreuse-ish one that i love- make sure you get a color you wear a lot or a basic.  i like Lilykind's- i would get one in that color because most people don't seem to wear that color, making me like it =)  the emerald green is cute too.

Lynnie-

I ended up not getting that one (sold out before I could make up my mind), but now I really want either that one or a BCBG one.  I was wondering how much use everyone got out of them before I bought one (all I need is another item to sit in my closet!!).

I think I am going to look around for the Velvet one.  I think I like it better.

heather- some of the stores still have them.  the one in new york does anyway- the one on fifth avenue.  i have a medium in both of mine (i'm a size 4 but my arms aren't super skinny- that was the tight part) so they run a tiny bit small.

I have two, one in pink and the blue and white striped one and I get quite a bit of use out of them when it's warmer. They are nicer than a cardigan for a cover up. I say they're a good investment.

Hmm I am in between a small and a medium on top.  I was thinking of ordering a medium.  Should I get that or size up to a large for when I wear it over things (not sweaters, but fitted shirts and camis)?

I love mine and I wear it A LOT - maybe too much... I may be sick of it next winter - so while I know I'll wear it a lot this winter, I'm not so sure about next winter...

i have 6.  i got a light pink one first, then a red to go over a black dress for valentine's day.  then i bought a brown one (i this one), and then finally decided to buy a black one. for spring i bought a kiwi one (the color Lilykind has), and then right before i quit, i bought another black one.  i kinda wish i would have bought a cream and gray one.

they are perfect for when you don't want to wear a coat, and they will get you in and out of the car.  i wear them to outdoor concerts, the theater, always always wear them when i fly (it's like a blanket), i would wear them when i went to babysit (and wrap the baby up in them ).

i know at bcbg the light blue, purple (it's a weird purple color, too bright for my tastes), and red, black, and cream w/ sequins are all on sale right now.  check the outlets they might be on sale there right now in last years colors.

if you can, try one on at bcbg because there are probably at least 10 ways to wear them and the SA can show you.  i'm not even kidding.  they are sooo fun.

obviously i'm a bit biased, but i have gotten sooo much use out of them and i like that they are more of a sweater.  usually i get sick of bcbg items after seeing them all the time, but this piece i seriously did not.  i it.

ok, i'm done now.
