Anyone seen Munich?

Me and my mom just went to see this movie today...i haven't even heard about it before, but my mom thought it was important for us to watch it. Its about the killing of a group of jews at the olympics in munich by 11 arabs.  The movie was long, but amazing. Steven Spielberg is incredible. Just wondering if anyone else has seen it....

I just saw this and I really liked it. Before going I wasn't sure how I felt about people taking creative liberties with such a tragedy for a commercial movie, but I think it came out well. I felt Spielberg did a really good job of being politically even handed by not siding really with either the Israelis or the Palestinians. However, I think if I knew more about the subject I would feel like it dealt with it fairly simplisticaly as the ultimate conclusion is violence isn't the solution, but neither is non-violence. Although the moral of the story is kind of ambiguous, the fact that that is the moral isn't. My only real criticism is that I think it might be better if it were left open for a little more interpretation. However, I did think it was great. Long, but it never felt like it as it was tense the entire time. And the lead actor was great. I would defintely reccomend it.

I saw it yesterday and thought it was excellent.  The subject matter made it a bit of a downer, but that's expected.  I thought they did a good job showing that revenge isn't always the right answer.  The only other movie I've seen Eric Bana in was the half hour of The Hulk I watched on TV. I think he did a fabulous job in the lead role, which was quite a change from his part in The Hulk.
