I had a great Christmas, probably the best one I've had in years. It was mellow but so much fun.

My bf gave me some really beautiful amber jewelry- earrings and a ring that match this necklace I already had. I'll take pics later.


A Black and Decker cordless drill, a slipcover for this chair I had, a Asian style jewelry box, money and gift cards.


The worst part of Xmas though was bf had an athsma attack and we had to go to an emergency clinic for treatment in the afternoon of Christmas day. He is fine now though.

my BF got me:



Laura Mercier Master brush set (he's so good!) and a tanzanite necklace... so pretty!  he also got me a Juicy hoodie, Ruehl white zip sweater and a white button down from Banana.  In my stocking was bath bombs, godiva chocolates, "Chicago" and "Uptown Girls" :)


My parents got me a cherry jewelry stand which I promptly set up as soon as I got home and cleared my dresser top of all my jewelry!  Finally a place to put it all!  they also got me a lot of little odds and ends...

Everyone got wonderful things!


Brazen - Glad your bf is okay, what a horrible way to spend the day.


Here's my haul:

  • Bucket full of assorted household products - cleaning supplies, deodorant, shampoo, toothpaste, etc.  My Mom does this for my sister and I every year.  I used to think it was really lame, but now I kind of look forward to it.

They weren't my gifts, but DH got Trailer Park Boys Seasons 1-4 on DVD.  I love that show!


DH and I actually didn't exchange giftst this year, we are going to do the Toronto/Kingston/Montreal trifecta in February, so we are saving to do a little shopping while we are there.

Hee-hee, when I first heard of it I thought the exact thing of the name!  It's actually a smoothie/blender appliance that's been on informercials for a while, but you can get it on amazon, jcpenney, target, etc. now.  You can also chop with it and make frappes, etc.
