~**SECOND UPDATE**~


Well, the second date was a 'smashing success' (as scarlett put it).  We had a great time and ended up talking into the wee hours of the morning.  He invited me to go with him tonight to the Christmas Eve service at his church. I'm going to go as long as I can get all of my shopping done (I'm so bad, I still have a good amount left to do).  Oh, and we're going out on NYE.

So....tell us about this guy!  What does he look like?  What does he do for a living.  I think you mentioned that he's younger, but I can't really remember anything else.

He's about 6'2", light brown hair, green eyes. Cute!  He works in IT. This isn't the younger guy (that was a different one). He's my age, a few months older, actually. 


nicoley, his band has a sound that is a mix of pop, rock and jazz. It's pretty unique and I quite like it, actually (and I'm not just saying that b/c of him). I'm very picky about music and what I think sounds good. 


And, yes, I've met some of his friends and they all seem nice.  And I've met his family, too (since his mom and my mom set us up) and they are really great, too.  I feel like I've known him and them forever.

Oh yay! I'm so happy for you! I started clapping out loud when I was reading this post. The boy was sitting next to me and was like, "what are you clapping about?" I said, "It's Nylabelle. She likes a boy and her last boyfriend was a jerk." Him: "so that was a happy clapping?" Hee! Yes it was! I'm so, so very excited. I definitely want the updates. Hey - is his band on myspace? So, Nyla met me out at DH's little concert on Friday night.. AND I got to meet *the boy*. He seems super nice and sweet and they were sitting there all cuddly most of the night! And he knew my DH.. they used to do an open mic night together at a local bar near us. What a small freakin world!


Anyway, Yay for Christie! :)
