I haven't been yet, but I'm not sure I can wait much longer! Has anyone been to H&M recently? I'm thinking of going Dec 29th if I can get someone to go to the city with me.

I am actually leaving for SF tommorrow. My parents live in the burbs there. I will only be there until the 27th though, but I am definitely hitting up h&m. I'd love a partner if you can go earlier.

I live in Sacramento so its not too bad of a drive (90 minutes or so).  


I have to work  the early part of that week, otherwise I'd love to meet up Rocky.  I'm pretty sure I can rope someone into coming along with me - but I'd love to meet up with another STer if it works out for someone - but don't worry if you are busy with stuff that day!

Hey Alikat, I live in the East Bay, and I haven't been to H&M yet.  I've been trying to outwait the crowds.  But I'd love to meet up and go with you!  I don't think I can stand waiting any longer...

it's not all that packed really. there wasn't alot of great things (at least to me) because it was trendy and passe but there is alot of selection. they did have this really great tuxedo jacket that i'll probably get after x-mas. the guys section has some pretty clothes, and overall, i like the store but it isn't a "must-shop" place for me.

I went yesterday, it was pretty disappointing. The quality was pretty bad IMO, especially on the knits. I picked out a few tops but nothing fit right. It reminds me of forever21 but a little more east coast. There were tons of vests, bustiers, and military stuff, along with the boho but toned down a bit. Maybe all the cute stuff had sold out already, because there was a few cute items that were out of most of the sizes. I hope you guys have better luck though.

I was kind of disappointed too.  I felt like they toned down for the US... but maybe its just this season.  I actually liked the post store more than the large one on powell, though - and I bought 2 sweaters there.


As for the quality - that's hit or miss as I remembered from England.  I think its a bit better than F21 for the most part, though.  At least the clothes I bought there in the past have held up better than ones from F21.

I went yesterday and I was not all that impressed. I am starting a shopping ban for myself, but not at H&M since it was my first time going. Even after giving myself permission to shop, I didn't find anything special enough to buy.

I only went to the big one on Powell, now I wish I had gone to the one on Post too.

I ended up with a metallic top, a bracelet and a pair of earrings.

I went with my boy toy, and he thought he'd died and gone to heaven.  I, on the other hand, was really disappointed.  When I used to go in France I always saw tons of stuff I loved, and was usually able to find some pretty good quality stuff.  But I didn't find a single thing that I liked, not even in the jewelry.  I went in there all ready to spend, spend, spend, and I walked out with nothing.  Sniff, sniff.
