After seeing TexasGal's post about the LV Speedy in the Damier- I want to get it.  but the BF is already planning on getting the Speedy in the monogram tomorrow.  i mentioned to him that i might want it in the Damier and he said "well decide so i know what to do". 


argh!  i don't know what i want... i like the damier b/c it is different and not as many people will have it or will it be knocked off as bad... but i dont want to wait 4-6 months for my christmas present. 


i offered to get it myself when it comes out- but he said no.  i already have back up gifts that he could get instead if he changes his mind but i don't think he will...


what to do???????

Tough choice!  I'd go w/ the Damier, I like it much better that the logos.

I like the damier much better. Why don't you pick another fabulous bag for him to get you now, and then save in the next 4-6 months for the speedy?

Even though it's been knocked off a lot, I still like the monogram better.  It appeals to me more aesthetically than the damier.  Not to offend anyone who has the damier, but I thought it looked kind of cheap the first time I saw it.

after i pouted around the house for 15 minutes, the BF said he would make the decision and that is what Christmas is all about... surprises...

Haha...I think that's the best way to go.  If you can't decide, let your boyfriend decide and I'm sure you'll LOOOOVE whatever he gets you...whichever style it is.  It'll be meant to be.

i wouldn't worry about the knockoffs in your decision- every lv bag will be knocked off tremdously- just think- cherry blossoms, cherries, multicolors... and if its new, you can bet all the starlets will have it- jessica simpson, etc.  SO, i would just go with the one that you like best personally.  i like the checkerboard one better- goes with more of my stuff.  many love their logo ones, which are tried and true.  so i think you'll be happy with whichever!  and you can always get the epi speedy later if you need diff. color scheme!
