I won a pair of Burton Snowboarding pants 2 weeks ago off ebay.  They retailed for $230 and I won them for $72.  So, I paypal the seller with my CC.  She writes me to ask if I could send her a check or money order instead because she has to pay extra fees b/c i paid with CC.  I ask her to deny payment and I will paypal her with my bank account which will not give her additional fees.  No problem.  So I do this last Tuesday and she tells me that she is shipping next day.  Today I receive this:


Hello,
I am so sorry that your pants have not been shipped yet. I wanted to ship them today, but I can't find your address. I have been so busy with finals and work, and I thought that my boyfriend had shipped them. However, last night I went there and saw the box still sitting there. If you will send me your address I will mail out your package tomorrow priority mail. Once again, I am very sorry. It should have been sent last week.


WTF?  I know how busy things can get with school but COME ON.  I immediately replied with my address and for her to ship out ASAP as I am going skiing Monday and was counting on these pants b/c I don't have any others!  grrrrr

Tell her to overnight them b/c you were counting on them for your ski trip on SATURDAY - tell her saturday so there won't be any chance of you not getting them on Monday.  It's not your fault that she was busy and she already said she would send them to you ...


It's the least she can do.


That's what I did as a seller one time when I messed up.

Aghh...the last thing I want to hear on ebay when I'm doing business is peoples life stories!  That girl should have said she made a mistake and upgraded the shipping for next day air.  I bet though if she would have sold these for say $150, she wouldn't have minded that they were paid by credit card and took great care in making sure they got sent out ASAP.

i actually did bump the day so she would get them here on time.  we are not skiing until tuesday!  hopefully they get here on time....
