In 4-6 months...LV Damier Speedy!*edit* pics please?

Remember how I was going to custom order the Speedy 30 in Damier canvas?  So it turns out LV will be adding the Speedy 25 and 30 in the Damier canvas to their line about mid next year.  So the SA suggested I put myself on the waitlist and i did!!!  She said the bag would probably cost a bit more than the monogram canvas but would definitely be cheaper than the 30% markup of having it custom made (which previously was the only way of getting a damier speedy).  So in 4 to 6 months, I'll be the proud owner of a new Speedy 30 Damier Canvas!!!  Time to do the happy dance.



Plus, the SA only found out about the new LVs a week ago so I'm at the top of the list!  Although...now i can't say I have a custom LV.  Oh well...still doing the happy dance.

I'm signed up to get a Speedy 30 and I'm pretty sure that's the size I'd want cause I like bigger bags...but can anyone post pictures of the 30 and 25 being held?  for size comparison?  TIA!!!

Yay!  You can't say you had it custom made, but it is much cheaper, AND you can say that you were one of the first to have it.

^ I read on the Purse Forum it'll be around $680? Of course that's just what one person was quoted. I'm sure it'll change 'til it actually comes out.

NCshopper - That's exactly what i was thinking.  Jessica's speedy looks rather....depressed.  Is this what it actually looks like????  Cause I may have to switch to the 25 if that's how it really looks...


Lilykind - ADORABLE!  The 25 is perfect for you!  I'm 5' 4"/5'5"? and a size...0?...do you think a 25 or 30 would be better suited?  I've compared the dimensions of the Speedy 30 to my other bags..I think it'll be a tad smaller than my Handmaid bag...and from what I can tell, the 30 seems like a good size to me.


Although, I'm thinking of stopping by the LV store this Friday (this bag better be worth it if I'm braving the mall the friday before xmas) and comparing the sizes just to be sure.

TexasGal, the 30 does get "droopy" if it isn't stuffed to the brim. It looks like Jessica Simpson's might be a bigger size than 30, but I don't think they make anything bigger. It just looks so huge compared to her body.

I straightened the bag out for this pic so it wouldn't look as droopy.

An update for all of you guys-- I called 866-VUITTON yesterday to see if I could go on the waiting list or be informed by my local store when it comes out, and the rep said that no, I couldn't-- but that she had heard it is coming out the 1st of the year. She may have been mistaken, but we may want to look for it in the stores earlier than anticipated!

if you're worried about the droopiness, what i did was cut out a piece of cardboard and put it on the bottom of my bag, and put all my stuff on top of it. =) problem solved! i have the 30 and i love it... my friends all have the 25 and it seems so small to me. good luck!


oh and i do believe they make one bigger than the 30, but not 100% sure. i think the one jessica simpson is holding is def. bigger than the 30.

The Speedy also comes in 35 and 40! However, Eluxury does not sell these on their site.

I don't think Jessica's is a 30. It just looks soooooo big on her to be a 30!
