I got a really good deal on this jacket but am unsure if it's going to keep me warm enough in the snow for skiing. My husband says "No, you need something with down," but i wanted some other skier's opinions.

Hi - I think it's really cute!  As long as it is water and wind resistant (which it appears to be), you should be fine.  It looks like this one has a fleece lining too, which is much better than down IMO.  I am a big fan of layering, so all my ski jackets are shells like this one.  That way, I can ski in a range of temps and conditions from -10 to 40 degrees and wear the same jacket.

I use a Columbia coat for skiing and it has never done me wrong! I love mine and think that yours will work just fine.
