I used to get my eyebrows waxed in DC and i LOVED my guy - so much so that I never wanted anyone else to touch my eyebrows every again


well i've been in dallas about three and a half years now and i've decided i'm not to be trusted with the task of caring for them - my mom said she was getting me a GC to wherever i wanted for xmas and it can't be target/ walmart - something i need.  pooh.  that's actually what i really could use.


anyway, so i think i'll get a salon - do you guys have anyone that you love who does eyebrows?

I go to the Nordstrom Spa at the Galleria and use Bella.  I've been going to her for awhile now and she is great!!  I've even had my mom and sister make appointments with her when they come in town to visit.

This is totally off topic, but who did you go to in DC?  That's where I live, and I don't want to miss out on a fab brow guy.  I tend to get eyebrow-obsessed.

Well, his name was Lucas Vu, and he worked at Circe, but has since disappeared.  There is one other lady - really really great - so many people swear by her.


Her name is Brenda - she also used to work at Circe but moved to Sugarhouse Day Spa - off of King Street in Old Town Alexandria - I'm not sure if she's still there but if she is she's incredible!


That's one of the things I miss about being in the industry - you have the insider info as to who's the best!  (you can rarely get a completely honest answer if you just ask the front desk staff - they have to say everyone is good!)

Ooooooh, I have been to Sugarhouse!  I'll check and see if Brenda is still there.


I hear ya on getting the scoop on good people.  I could never trust my brows to some stranger!
