I think I'm going to make a ham and homemade mac and cheese (or go to Trader Joes and get a smorgasboard worth of hors douvres (sp?) and munchies).

I'm soooooo excited about christmas dinner this year!  It will be just my husband and me   We are going to have:

- tenderloin that is being overnighted to us from some fancy-schmancy place (my husband is a beef connoisseur).  We'll probably cook it on the grill and add melted bleu cheese.

- twice baked potatoes, green beans with almonds

- a bottle of Pine Ridge cabernet that we have been saving since our trip to Napa

- chocolate cheesecake

Our big celebratory meal is breakfast.  We are having eggs benedict, gingerspice waffles, rosemary potatoes, cinnamon rolls, and gobs of coffee.

I have no idea why my DH thinks he needs to cook that much food, he calls it "a bounty, for three people.  Whatever.
