Help - Possible Christmas Dilemma
Permalink Closed

Ok, I had planned on getting my parents tickets to see Blue Man Group for Christmas.  I just talked to my mom and somehow we got on the topic of shows and musicals.  She said she knows she wouldn't enjoy something like Wicked or Chicago because she doesn't like all that singing.

Do you guys think she'll still enjoy Blue Man?  I've see it and there's no singing, more drums, visual effects, etc.  But I just want to make sure.  If I don't get them this - then I'm completely lost.

I've seen Blue Man Group and I think it's something parents would like. It doesn't have any singing or musical aspects to it. It's more of avant-guarde/performance art type thing. Do you think they would like that? It'd probably be cool just to go see, even if you aren't into it that much.

I think anyone would love it, just because it's such a sensory feast!  I don't know which show is in Chicago, but I've seen "Tubes" like 5 times and would go again!!!!  My parents loved it!
