jcrew ticket pocket trouser jeans- fit question

I *just* won these on ebay- i wanted to know if they run true to size (or, at least, true to general jcrew sizing which I find runs a little big) does anyone own these?

the seller had two sizes on sale, the other ones no one bid on, i am wondering if i shoudl switch to the bigger size- i wear a 6 in jcrew khakis and a loose 30/tight 29 in sevens - i bought a 30 in these- any thoughts?

i tried on the khaki version in the store one time and they fit bizarrely.  the denim ones may be different.  in general j.crew pants tend to run small now, though.
