Stila foundation, anyone use the illuminating one? I have used there tinted moisturizer forever but now with winter here I am feeling red and well in need of more coverage. Any thoughts? Also what about their concealer. I just love Stila makeup the lipglosses and shadows! Ahh I love makeup!

I use the stila illuminating one. I switched to Bare Minerals about 5 or 6 months ago But sometimes the Bare Minerals can be too drying so I switched to Stila for a day or two. I like it -- good coverage and light feeling on.

Mikacat, does the illuminating foundation have light-reflecting particles in it, or does it make your face "glow" like some other foundations claim to do? Just wondering why it's called illuminating!

I use it too and I really like it but for work I still use the tinted moisturizer.  I mean I'm just sitting in a small room and no one really sees me so why waste my time with the foundation?  For all my special events though I've been using it and I really like it.  It feels thin/watery when you touch it but it covers really well so don't be turned off by that.

I'm not sure about the illuminating part.  I always use powder which probably defeats the purpose of glowing...

I use the illuminating powder foundation and I love it! I don't know if it makes me "glowy" necessarily, but it evens my skin tone extremely well without being heavy.

If you want something glowy, prescriptives magic liquid powder works well.
