eBay vintage dress and Toast skirt
Permalink Closed

I won these two items on eBay (my bf had to bid on the skirt because it was UK seller and the other item was won by another bidder who then sold it on to me after it didn't fit her - hence my ID not being on either auction). I am going to wear the dress with a leather belt but will avoid the vintage dress/leather belt/cowboy boots cliche with some unique footwear, I hope. Maybe I'll pull a Sienna and go barefoot? Heh.

The skirt is by the UK brand Toast which I have recently fallen for. Their stuff is very 'English' looking - lots of navy wool and tweed and cashmere etc. The skirt is charcoal wool with a white cotton pinstripe lining that just peeks out at the bottom.

I love the dress, very cool. I also agree with Halleybird that the skirt would look good with a red top. I love both of your finds, btw.

I actually *have* that cardigan - red, 50's styling (i.e. fitted, not overly long) - great idea. Thanks!
