another winter boot thread

I'm trying to find a pair of winter boots that my little brother can buy our sister for christmas (he's 16 so i'm trying to keep it under $100).  she's not super picky and warmth, comfort are slightly more impt for her than style (that said, i want to find a really cute pair anyway).  should any of these be options?  i'm partial to 5, 6,and 7 in that order.

I really like 6 and 7, but especially 7, altho the light color of 7 may not be as practical in snow....
