This year, my boyfriend and I are going to be celebrating Christmas Eve together for the first time, and then spending Christmas with family.  I would like to start some traditions, and one of the things I would like to do is exchange one gift on Christmas Eve.  His family has always done this as well, and I think he always got pajamas.  While I love that idea, I would like to do something different, that would be unique to us.  Any ideas?  I would love if it I could do something along the same lines every year.


 


I’m still new to this Christmas stuff, so any help would be appreciated!

how @ doing a treasure hunt for the gift you and him exchange- leave clues through out the house until it is found each year add new places

possibly an ornament to each other


or something you both love---music, a movie, a book


or you could have a different theme each year

How about getting special cookies and hot cocoa and listen to Christmas music and sitting in front of the fireplace if you have one?

The boy and I decided to do stocking for xmas. We also decided to buy an ornament for the other one each year. (It's really just a possible plan since we've only been dating since the summer but we figured, hey, an ornament can't hurt right? )


I think I'd do stockings on xmas eve. Maybe watch Miracle on 34th Street (my personal fave xmas movie) and drink wine and open our stocking gifts. Or maybe start a tradition with a favorite book or movie or cd for the evening before.

i personally like the idea of ornaments... i think it would make for a really nice tradition!
