Need hair and make-up help for holiday party!

I'm both attending and hosting holiday parties this Friday.  The party at my house is actually a pre-party party that will be attended by anywhere from 50-200 people (!!!!).  I won't know exactly how many because my hubby didn't ask for an RSVP.  Anyhoo, after the party at my house we're all going to Gillette Stadium for the "big" party.  I mention all the previous because I am in need of some ideas for something to do w/ my short hair that might not take too long since I'll be a slave of the kitchen most of the day.  Thank god the cleaning ladies will be coming!

Yes, I always have on my stupid glasses, so those have to stay.  Any pictures of cute short hairstyles and dramatic makeup would be appreciated!

hey girl - you've got a super cute style going on there - i love the way it looks in the camping pictures - not sure if your hair naturally dries like that or not - but it looks like you'd be good to go with just a sparkly hair clip in the side!


i bet some of the girls on here would know some cute ones ...

you know what would look really cute--miranda's hair in season six of sex and the city.    i'm specifically thinking of how she had her hair at brady's first birthday party.  i think it was season six, part one, last episode, and i think the episode's title was "one."  you know, the one where charlotte miscarried but came to the party anyway and samantha dyed her hair "down there" bright orange?  lol, i love that episode!  and miranda looked fab, i loved her hair!

I think it would be cute if you wore a headband like the one's bumblebee makes, and straightened your hair so it would be really sleek. If you want some makeup ideas I have the mac makeup guide somewhere, I could look for it and send you the .pdf file. Just tell me if you want it! OK...I tried to do a paint drawing...but it looks kind of crazy!

I vaguely remember the epi, but do you think you can help me find a pic from it?


Kisa - I wish my hair was long enough for that, but it's not.  Headbands look terrible on me at this point in my hair length (well, the way I do them, anyway).  I wish!
