I love documentaries and thought I'd share an email I got about an upcoming one.  I'm definitely going to tivo this one tonight:


Wanted to let you all know about a film I saw at the Human Rights Watch film
festival, airing tomorrow (Tuesday) on PBS.  Seoul Train is the story of an
underground railroad taking oppressed and abused people from North Korea to
safety in neighboring countries.  The horrific ordeal that these people go
through, and the risks (of death) that people take to bring them to safety
is both heartbreaking and uplifting.  The film is not easy to watch (one
unbelievably emotional scene shows a group - with a young child -  trying to
get passed armed guards at an embassy) but it is such an amazing look  at the
horrors that people deal with - and the strength they find within  themselves
- just to survive. 

This Tuesday, December 13th marks the U.S. television premiere of Seoul
Train on PBS! Catch the film that the Wall Street Journal says is “so
compelling that you can’t stop watching even though you know it will  haunt
your dreams.”
Seoul Train is airing on the Emmy® award-winning PBS series Independent
Lens. The national broadcast time is 10:00 PM, but check your local listing
or click here for the exact time in your area.

I missed this because it was so late and I was tired.  Why not air it at 8 or 9?

Lorelei--It didn't air here in DC like I had thought.  My husband checked the PBS website and it actually doesn't air here until December 22nd (I think), like at 2:00 am or something.  Weird.  Sorry for the inaccurate information everyone!
