that aren't as long as standard rectangles, but don't pop out of those standard cubes?  i want a compact way to keep tissues on my desk, but not as tall as it would be if they were popping out of the cube.  i'm talking about standard cardboard $3 kleenexes.  i don't think this is a standard size- but maybe a store like trader joe's or a gifty store would have smaller boxes?  i realize that this must be the stupidest question ever. 


ETA: how many times am i going to stay standard in one post, geez.

They do make a miniturized rectangle. Not sure if this is the one you were talking about. It is not as big as the large size rectangle, much flatter and a bit shorter. It is about 1 1/2 inches high and about 3x4 inches

I've never seen tissue box covers that are that size, but I did see this while I was browsing online the other day.  It's $18 at momastore.org

whoa thats pretty cool- but i'm scared that all your tissues would be exposed! not exactly sanitary.  duece- i'll have to see if i can find that size- its still pretty long though =/  i need soemthing less lengthy but it could be a little taller.  a cube could fit as long as you pulled them out of a semi-circle cutout like on the rectangles- not if they were spewing out of a hole.

Kleenex also makes a plastic-bag-like think that lies really low. I think they were originally made to keep in the car. But it sounds like it would work for you!
