Ok, girls, I wear a size 26 stretch in CoH and Sevens, so I went to get these Rock & Republic Beckham crown jeans and got them in a 26 (they are stretch). Well, of course they were too small. They fit ok in the thighs (much to my surprise), but I couldn't button them (not even close!). So I get a size 27...still couldn't button them Ok, confession time, I gained like 3 pounds in the last month (stupid yummy thanksgiving food!). Do I try a size 28? Are they really made that small?!? Darn Posh spice and her lack of curves
Sidenote: I'll soon be listing a size 26 and a size 27 in the ebay section if anyone is interested.
Oh, and when I discovered I couldn't button the size 27's what did I do? Went and ate a piece of cake, that's really going to help the problem! I'm off to do my Pilates and try them on again...

LOL, you crack me up! I love those jeans, but damn girl, if you can't fit in a 27, then I know I can't, and that's my regular size Otherwise, I'd buy them off you!
Do you think they just stretch out a lot? I went up a size in True Religon (couldn't button my usual size) but regretted it. After wearing them around for a couple of hours I was constantly pulling them up. Hmmm maybe try some stretches in the pair while ubbottoned see if you can stretch them out haha.
FP, If your butt is too big, I'd have my whole butt hanging out of those jeans! And that goes for you too BrazenCanadian! I am usually a 27 or 28 stretch (depending on the style) in regular Rock and Republics though...hmmm.
I would try doing stretches in them unbuttoned, as halah suggested...see what happens in the 27. I too made the mistake of getting a 28 stretch in my True Religions which fit perfectly at the store...now I have all this fabric in the crotch area that's just so wrong...
*off to drown massive confusion in Trader Joe's chocolate truffles!*
Im thinking it may just be the VB Rock and Republics, because I have these ones (except not outlined in red, and has pretty blue crystals), and they fit TTS, im really suprised you are having so much trouble.

LOL! I also love that the code for these smileys reads: cake cake cake chew cake cake cake.
FP - don't worry! I refuse to buy jeans that run small on principle. I passed up a cute pair of 7s at Nordstrom Rack because I would have needed a 28 (I am normally a 26) and I was morally opposed to buying a bigger size. Anyway, did you get them on ebay? Any chance that they're not real, and that's why they run so small? I got a pair of fake 7s once that ran WAY smaller than marked.

Thanks girls! I think I'm going to try the *gasp* 28, hubby says to get those now and when I tone up get the smaller size, isn't he sweet
halleybird, yeah, I got them on ebay, they look authentic, but who knows, the fakes are so good now a days. But that sounds like a good reason for them to not fit, so that's our story and we're sticking to it
But I am starting a diet and exercising (with an emphasis on the exercising). And sorry to any of the girls that I encouraged to over-enduldge in junk food
