starting to panic...
Permalink Closed

I haven't bought any Xmas presents yet! Except for the one for my SS and a toy for my dog. I feel so far behind and its starting to freak me out.

The worst part is I have absolutely no idea what to get the bf. Not a clue. All he put on his list was DVD's but that seems so boring and unromantic. But I'm at a total loss for ideas otherwise.

I thought about getting him tickets to a hockey game but the season is sold out. He hates clothes and is very picky about what he reads or what music he listens to. We are trying to keep Christmas low-key so I can't afford an Ipod or anything like that. I am so stuck!

I have no ideas. I need help!

Buy food, wine or beer. Seriously, that is about what everyone gets from me these days. Different micro brewery beers, good bottle of wine, imported cheeses, chocolate, salami - http://www.katzdeli.com/

Good Luck!!

Do you guys have any import-type chain stores in Canada?  Cost Plus world Market in the US has awesome international beer packs - I think it's maybe $10 or so for a six pack, but each contains six different kinds of beers from all over the world.

Netflix subscription?

Hockey tix on ebay?

New wallet?  Keychain?

Stuff both of you can enjoy for the house?

Have you tried brokers for the hockey tix?  It may be too much $$$, but could be worth a shot.  You never know, a less popular game could still be in your price range.

I was also going to suggest some type of micro-brew by the month club.  Guys LOVE those.

What about a gc to your favorite restaurant for a romantic dinner together?

Does he want anything for you new place?  Maybe a cool picture?  Some bar accessories?

I agree, buy a really big popcorn bowl and put it together like a date night basket with some dvd's, popcorn, candy, beer or wine, maybe a cheap fleece throw.  That would be so cute!
