ok - I really like both of these snow boots... olive or black? I like the way the olive ones look, and I have a dark olive full-length down parka, but I also have a short black down parka... the black will go with the olive and black parkas, but will the olive look ok with a black parka as well? am I over thinking this? should I order both and return the ones I don't want to keep? I like how the olive one's are less contrasty, but I like versatility of the black and the fact that they are less likely to show dirt...

Hmm, wow I really see your dilemma!  I really like them both, maybe the olive a little more.  They feel a little more 'special' to me since you can see the detail more clearly.  And I think they'd look hot with both coats.

Short answer - Olive.

I like the black better. The olive just aren't doing it for me...plus I don't like how the heel is a different color than the rest of the boot. HTH

I say order both and see which one you like the best IRL.  From the picture I like the olive the best but I love olive/army green everything so I might be a little biased.

Oooh this is tough.  I keep going back and forth...

My gut instinct is olive though.  It's pretty on those boots - shows the detail better and I'm a sucker for olive on satin-y material.  The black look pretty basic to me.

And the olive would look better with the olive coat and cute with black (not just black on black; trust me I am the biggest culprit of too much black)!

I like the olive better but I think head-to-toe olive might be weird. Especially if the parka is a slightly shiny synthetic fabric like the boots. If the shipping charges aren't outrageous I think you should order both and try them on with your coats.

I like olive better, but I also think head to toe olive would be weird (at least how I am picturing it).

I love the olive ones, black is more sensible, but I would definitely go with the olive.

I'm in the olive camp.  I like that the buttons are just light enough that they stand out a little bit.  They're VERY cute.

i love the black ones- i like the way they can be more dressed up but still dressed down.  the green ones are 100% casual.

I'd go with the black ones. For some reason the olive just seems blah to me on this style of boot. Besides the black would be more versatile.
