Hi Girls! I need some help. My boyfriend is taking me out to eat at a surprise restaurant (he promises with a view of the NYC skyline) for my birthday dinner (tomorrow is my birthday I love getting early presents though ). I really want to wear my DVF wrap dress I bought last week but am at a loss as to what to wear with it for winter...or if it's even appropriate.
The Dress:
I was thinking of wearing it with darkbrown boots like these (mine are enzo and the leather has a slight pebbled texture but these are close in style).
Or should I wear heels? It's so cold would tights and heels look right? What jewelry? Something chunky to make it look a little more modern?
I think those boots would look great with that beautiful dress! More importantly.. Have fun!! For someone not from NYC, and dreams of living there... That sounds so exciting to get to have your bday dinner looking over the NYC skyline!!

Thanks I think I'm going with boots and big earrings like Janey mentioned I don't think I need a necklace!
I just moved here in August from Arkansas so I know what you're saying. I'm still in tourist mode trying to see and do everything!
That's too funny I'm from Shreveport originally but moved away when I was pretty young. I went to highschool in Mena AR but have lived in Little Rock since. I miss Little Rock like crazy (which is something I NEVER thought I'd ever say) but I'm enjoying the change.

I live in Shreveport right now! I miss Arkansas too (although I'm not too far away now), Louisiana just isn't the same. I lived in Little Rock when I was young but we moved to SouthEast Arkansas and that's where I went to High School. Small World :)
