LOL . . . "cute or hideous" Just goes to show it's a fine line sometimes.
I'm going to go with cute. I like the unexpected color, and I think they would really perk up an otherwise neutral outfit (for some reason, I'm seeing them with a black turtleneck and jeans with big, cool earrings).
I've started to get so sick of cowboy boots, but I like these. They're authentic, but unique cause of the green. I actually used to have a pair just like that when I was little and I wore them EVERYWHERE.
I think they are *okay*. That said, they are not reeeeally my style (I don't think cowboy boots in general really are, unless I'm trying to be cowgirl-esque). I do like that they are unexpected and I think that they could definately make some great outfits. Would I myself get a lot of use out of them? No. And I wouldn't pay a lot for them, but I would get them if they weren't expensive with the thought that I would wear them out, like to the bar or some other kind of casual atmosphere.

I've come back to this post a few times and although I'm still not 100% in love with them, they're growing on me. The style isn't *me* exactly, but I LOVE the color.
Okay, I got them. only 12.99 on ebay! I'm not exactly a cowgirl boot wearer either, but I'm caving to the now dying trend. I really wanted green Miss Sixty dance boots (boo to you, detroit, for having the sense to buy them early!), but this was a good alternative for a green fix.
