The OC - Help Me!

Can someone please tell me what the hell happened in the last few mins of the OC last night??  I got up to the part where Ryan and Marissa were on the phone at the end, and then my TV cut to a news break.  Thanks!

That was the extent of the show. Their voices faded out and the show was over. They were telling each other about their weekends. That was it.

Thank you - I kind of figured that, but I wanted to make sure.  What was on the previews for next week?

Well, it's the super Chrismakuh episode and a bunch is happening. I think Johnny tries to kill himself. That's the way they showed it anyway.

The OC has been down this road before- Can you say Oliver?  I they need to come up with a new story line.

No kidding!  My thoughts exactly.  At least this kid isn't quite as nuts and annoying as Oliver.  Is anyone else just bored with the "public school kids?"  My husband and I were joking that those two guys (Johnny and the other wacky one) are like the Bizarro Ryan and Bizarro Seth...like that Seinfeld episode...heh.  It all just seems a little...done.

Also, I'm trying to remember...but wasn't it brought up sometime previously that Seth doesn't actually get the greatest grades?  That he is clever and knowledgeable is evident, but I just thought I remember he or Sandy saying something about his mediocre grades at one point first or second season.  I guess I always just thought of him as the sort of witty slacker.

aww man, i like johnny.  maybe i am just a sappy person, but he's so cute and sad--i kind of yelped when he fell and maybe reinjured his knee--poor guy.  and i think he's actually pretty realistic--a bit more than some of the other characters--like he really seems to be going some of the real high school insecurities, etc.  the kid who plays him is a decent actor, too--i hope he doesn't leave the show.

i thought seth wasn't that great of a student either.  what i love is that summer is going to be able to pull her lackluster GPA up enough to get into an ivy league school..in ONE semester.  very realistic.

Was it just me or did last night's episode suck?  I almost fell asleep.  The whole storyline w/Marissa/Johnny/Ryan is getting old.  Like the rest of you said - hello, they already did all this w/Oliver.  Marissa is so whiny and annoying I can't stand it.  I just felt like last night's episode went no where.  The whole strip club thing was so cheesy - especially when the stripper came to Sandy's office to defend her friend.  Are you kidding me!

My thoughts exactly. And in regards to the car accident, can you say Luke? They already had that scare in season one.

Yes, that was so corny!  But I am so glad Seth and Summer got over the whole college competition because I love them together.  But the episode as a whole was rather boring.

I agree with everyone, plus did you notice how seth said "hey why don't we have cars." I thought that was pretty funny. I thought that the whole guy with julie thing was corny. Plus Summer lives in this huge house, but Marissa and her share a room?
