Will SOMEONE kick me in the a$$ please!?!

It's 2:45 here.  I have not had lunch.  I have not gotten dressed.  I have accomplished nothing AT ALL today.  There are things that need to be cleaned, things that need to be picked up, and things that need to be bought.

I have absolutely zero motivation to do anything at all!  Someone light a fire under me will ya?

Yeesh!

Hmmmm.

I would just like to point out that the sun is shining and I think it's like 30 degrees where you are.

For the first time in several days.

Get off your bum, girl!

(How'd I do?)

I seriously can't help. I have a friend coming to stay with me this weekend & i seriously need to clean my bathroom & pick up around my house. It wouldn't hurt if I mopped. But no, I'm browsing ST, watching oprah, looking at a pile of clothes that need to be folded. I'm really no help unless of course that all sounded so pitiful & lame that you realize it's you too......
Maybe this is why we need jobs.....NAHHHHHH

Bwahahahaaaa Laken!  I said KICK not ENABLE !

What is UP with that?  We have time to do whatever we want and end up getting nothing done?  You do not even want to see my to do list!

What?!?  Doooo something?!?  Why, you must have mistaken me for someone else!

Okay, Lisa has inspired me as far as making lunch (Laken has successfully validated my slugginess and therefore doesn't count ).  Come on people!  There's still pants to be put on, Spanx at the apartment office to pick up, Presents at the post office to pick up, and a secret santa gift to buy!

Hehe!  You should have seen me yesterday!!  Hubby got me sick so we were both home from work yesterday.  I guess being sick was an excuse for our laziness, but this was our day:

Got up at 11:00 and ate 2 bowls of coco pebbles

Laid around on the couch watching Serendipity and Season 4 disk 4 of Will and Grace

Went to blockbuster in this exact outfit:  Dad's XXL grey Tommy Hilfigure sweatshirt, Hubby's blue plaid pajama pants, pink uggs, red and cream old scarf, black, white and mauve stripped gloves, glasses  (I was a sight for sore eyes, let me tell you!!)

Nix-ed hubby's planned dinner of hot dogs and shells and cheese for Dominos pizza, of which my toppings of choice are pineapple and mushroom, with a large glass of orange juice

Watched 2 episodes of law and order svu, 1 on couch, 1 in bed.

I have to say I did do 1 productive thing which was write and address all my christmas cards.  But the sad thing is, even though I was sick, it was one of the best and most relaxing days I have had in soooo long!!!

Sorry - I thought maybe I would sound so much like a loser that it would work. Have you ever heard this quote (well, it's something like this) "The time required for a task is directly proportionate to the time you have to do that task" - kinda like "busier people get more done". I really do believe that! I work well on a deadline & now I don't have one. It's really hard to stay motivated because I'm SUCH a procrastinator!

LOL - off topic, kinda, but when I was looking for that actual quote I found this one "The human race is faced with a cruel choice: work or daytime television." Unknown.

Aaaaaand my new sign line is found!

Actually though it wasn't particularly the kick I was looking for , it does make me feel like less of a loser!  I almost amaze myself with my ability to do nothing all day long - quite an accomplishment in itself I say !  FH unfortunately doesn't agree, hehe!  I don't exactly understand myself procrastinating on things that I actually (in theory) want to do though .

Seriously now - I officially declare tomorrow, December 9th, the Day That Things Shall Be Done!

But if we are both supposed to be off complying with The Rules that apply on The Day Things Shall Be Done, how will we know if one of us cheats!?

I'm taking tomorrow off work, so I'll likely be online a lot tomorrow.  I'll be watching for you two!

consider your butt kicked

but seriously, i could use a few butt kickings myself---since i have been home for two months now, i haven't done a whole lot.

i am in the middle of job hunting and getting ready to move

spring cleaning and sorting into piles of junk, goodwill, yardsale, sister pile, ebay pile, mending pile, cleaners pile

listing ebay, christmas wrapping, and needless to say the house is a wreck.

I am no help...I could also use a butt kicking....we put the tree up last weekend and have not gotten aroung to decorating it yet....I have bought about 40% of my holiday presents but the are sitting unwrapped under the naked tree....The future baby's room is full of boxes, maternity clothes--three piles, grew out of, wearing now, and for later....and wedding presents still to be opened...and tomorrow I plan to sit on my ass on the couch and watch all the show i have on TIVO...ahhhhh
