secret santa for a guy
Permalink Closed

so i'm stumped. we do a kris kringle every year at my job, and for the life of me i can't think of what to get. some background: the guy just made partner, is around 35, married no kids, and likes to think of himself as cool. my friend asked him what he wanted and he said a hat (like a cold weather hat) to match his scarf. i guess i could get that, but it just feels so blah. does anyone have any creative ideas? preferably under $30.

every time i've been in that situation at work, i've given a gift certificate for a book store or itunes.  it's not the most creative, but guys seem to like it.

i would say don't try to be creative. i am all about trying to get the perfect gift possible, but in a work situation with a guy... forget it! giftcard.. starbucks is great if there is one by you, the other suggestions people made are great too.

but if you want wanna get wacky maybe something he could use int he office.. like a mug.

My office secret santa (which changed with the addition of new people to the pot) will be getting something like this and/or a Starbucks GC. He's a majorly stressed caffeine addict.

(it's a hand held massage/paperweight thing...hehe)

I have a male secret santa too. I sort of went for a wacky fun gift and got him a desktop basketball game from Discovery Channel Store. Desktop bowling is also fun.
