i've finally gotten around to getting all of our wedding and honeymoon photos organized and i've been meaning to post some photos from bali since i know some people mentioned being interested in seeing them months ago (i'm really sad that i don't get to spend much time here anymore). so here are some photos and brief descriptions where applicable. :) enjoy!


We stayed in Ubud on Bali - these are some photos from the main street.







photos from the taman ayun temple - a state temple built in the 1600s





my very first glimpse of the indian ocean. :)



photos from tanah lot, also a temple from the 1600s, it's built on top of a huge rock which is surrounded by the sea (you can only reach at at low tide) and serves to pay homage to the guardian spirits of the sea.




we had the opportunity to see a traditional barong dance performance, which was pretty amazing. it's a multi-act performance with a story based on the battle between good and evil.






Batur volcano and the crater lake (this is an active volcano, last erupted in 2000)




rice terraces and workers




i have so many photos from the trip, but i just wanted to share a few. :)

Wow!  Those are great.  It looks so beautiful.  Especially love that temple that you can only reach at low tide, very mystical looking.

That was my favorite too!  I have never thought about going to Bali, but I want to now!
