i've been looking everywhere, since before i even knew who i'd have, and ugh! i can't find anything that "fits" for $20 or under!

hoepfully i can find something in nyc this weekend. it's really hard to shop for someone you don't know!

just had to get that out...i want to find something perfect, and i'm not, so it's frustrating.

well, i wasn't worried about it til the whole gift idea thread. Then i realized that some people really wouldn't want what i was planning to get....that makes me nervous. and my person did answer the thread so I'm kind of lost as well.

Yeah I'm worried that my SS isn't going to like what I get her because it might be a departure from her usual style...I'm so afraid that she will be underwhelmed that I want to look for something else. I think I need to join this PM ring!

i think that's what it's all about, finding something that they wouldn't normally get themselves, or something that's not usually them.  i think you all are stressing too much.  it's supposed to be fun!  i would say try to search for posts that they started, etc...to get an idea.

That's exactly what I think too - sometimes it's fun to get something you think you don't need or wouldn't buy for yourself. I know I'd love any kind of "lilykind" gift - that's what makes it special. Ok, am I preaching to myself, or what?

Count me in on this ring as well.... I havent had a chance to start shopping yet, but am going tomorrow after my last final :) yay, but have nothing in mind... We should all toss around ideas in a pm.... Id like to get your opinion on some things ive been thinking...

I just want to say that I think it is SOOOOO cute that we all care so much about eachother that we are putting so much thought into these gifts.  I just want my SS to be excited about my pressie... I would hate for her to be disappointed :(
